From the off, Isla and Andrew’s wedding day was full of fun. I started the day in their home where Isla and her bridesmaids were getting ready. I loved being there simply because it was so them! Fun and creative knick-knacks were all over the place so I could tell we were in for a great day! I loved how Isla's veil showed how they had brought their personalities into every single part of their wedding- right down to the last pom pom! Even more amazingly, Isla and her Dad went for a quick drink at their local pub (love it!) before heading down to St Luke's church Charlton for the ceremony. A close friend led their ceremony absolutely wonderfully. We were all laughing throughout and had such a great time. I was so happy I was invited to capture these two give their lives to one another. We got some great couple shots over at Greenwich Park- this may have been my favourite part of their day. We had such a relaxed time together and it made for some great photos! That is of course until we were joined by a dog (Isla really wasn’t keen!) who got us all laughing and having a great time.
The Reception
Andrew and Isla's held their reception in Davy's Wine Bar in Greenwich. Wow- what a good time! Everyone was laughing and having a great time from the moment we got there until the very end. The speeches were spot on and the atmosphere was buzzing. I love weddings like that! The happy couple spent their wedding day with so many happy people who just wanted to celebrate them and their marriage. What a joy! Capturing Isla and Andrew get married was absolutely awesome.
