I recently had the privileged of photographing Tim and Ruth getting married. They are two absolutely fantastic people, a genuine joy to spend time with and photograph. I started off the day with Ruth, capturing her and her bridesmaids getting ready and looking forward to the day ahead. Everyone was so relaxed and excited for the day ahead, it got everything off to a great start. Tim and Ruth got married in St Peter's Methodist Church right in the heart of Canterbury in Kent. I have to say, it made arriving at the church even more exciting as we followed their wedding car onto Canterbury high street on a busy Saturday morning! Tim's Dad performed the ceremony which was such a special moment to be a part of and capture. It gave the day such a family feel and made the ceremony so personal. After the ceremony, we went to Sibton Park for one of the most unique couple portrait sessions I've photographed! It could have been just a normal Saturday afternoon as Tim and Ruth enjoyed a game of snooker and took a stroll around the grounds. This reminded me of our previous engagement shoot where they played a round of golf- these two obviously love a good game and I loved how they brought that into their wedding day. I really love these photographs as Tim and Ruth were their normal kind and gentle selves, creating some amazingly genuine moments for me to capture. We then went to Elham Village Hall for more fun, food and a night of crazy ceilidh dancing! Being a wedding photographer, I've seen many different styles of weddings. Tim and Ruth's was one of the most enjoyable and I loved every minute of it, even when I was trying hard not to join in with the dancing! And it only got me more excited about my own wedding day which was the following week! I hope you enjoy the photos!
