I had the privilege of photographing Matt and Lydia’s wedding which was extra special for me as Matt and I were great friends during our time at University. I photographed their wedding day alongside Olly Knight which made it even more fun for me. Throughout this beautifully sunny day, Matt and Lydia were the perfect couple. They were so clearly overjoyed at being married and were really cute around each other. This made for some great photos! They were married in Woodham Ferrers and before we headed off to the reception, we were able to do a portrait session in some local fields. This must have been very strange for them both as this is where they go for runs together in their day to day lives. To go back here on their wedding day was clearly very special for them and I loved that they picked such a beautiful place for these photographs. The rest of the day continued with the same happiness and laughter- it really was a joy to capture this wonderful pair on what was clearly one of the happiest days of their lives.
