Dave and Sarah’s wedding was such an idyllic spring wedding. The beautiful weather suited the tone of the day so perfectly, they couldn’t have planned it better. If I had to describe this wedding in one word it would be fun! From start to finish Dave, Sarah, all of their guests and myself had so much fun, just as it should be at a wedding! We started off the day in a Canterbury café with Dave and his ushers. The jokes and laughter continued to a cottage outside the city where the girls were getting ready. I have to say, I was a little surprised but very happy to see how relaxed the bride was. Throughout the day it was so clear that Sarah really was having one of the best days of her life and enjoying every second. Their beautiful ceremony was held in St Andrews Church URC in Canterbury and they had all their family and friends laughing throughout. It didn’t matter that Dave dropped the ring or that they were referred to by Sarah’s last name- they just continued to laugh and have fun. Their reception was held at Petham Village Hall and what a night of celebration it was! They set the tone for their 50s rock ‘n’ roll theme with their first dance as husband and wife and all their guests had brilliant fun showcasing their best old school moves. However, my absolute favourite photos from the day would have to be their couple shoot. Having the sunset as their backdrop created some unforgettable photographs. I hope you enjoy looking through them.
His natural approach to photography made us so relaxed, because he subtly snapped away whilst we were enjoying the day, without us noticing him. The photos were amazing and we still love looking at them a year on.
